Born and living in Zurich Switzerland, I'm a full blood artist and producer, adding a very unique and recognizable flavor to everything I touch. I remember 2009 like it was yesterday; spent my last dime on a DAW to finally enter the world of professional music production. Against all odds I've been able to sustain a permanent progression of my work, even though, I had to reinvent myself a few times. But here I am. My name is Bonafrato.

State of the art

A blank sheet of paper. This is how I start every production. I've never been a sample based producer. On the other hand, I couldn't spare any of my melodies and loops. Working in a hybrid studio environment, I usually start with a melody, throw drums and bass on it and write down my lyrics right after that. As for me, self engineered recording and mixing for hours and hours will lead me to perfection. And that's just what I'm striving for.
